You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America. Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what’s left ofAmerica’s Judeo-Christian heritage.
Ice News recently received an e-mail from one of our long-term subscribers. Bob is an Army veteran – choppers in Nam, a proud American and a Harley Davidson rider. His e-mail reads:
“Last month I was ready to renew my insurance on the motorcycle I bought in late 2002. In the past, after receiving a renewal notice from the insurance carrier, I would call the Harley Davidson Insurance Division to have them compare the renew quote with other insurance companies. When I called this time, the representative was very nice and explained in detail that Harley Davidson Insurance was no longer able to compare insurance companies, as they were now writing insurance exclusively with Progressive Insurance.
“Although Harley Davidson is listed as the broker on my renewal policy with the other company, the agent could no longer give me any details about the renewal. I had to provide her with all the details of my existing policy to compare my coverage with Progressive. I should explain that the quote from the Harley Davidson agent with Progressive was 10% less than the renewal with the insurance company I had been with for 2 years. I did a little research on Progressive and Mr. Lewis. I renewed with the other company, although it cost me 10% more.”
Times are tough and jobs are scarce. Why did Bob decide Not to go with Progressive?
“Regardless how you feel about the politics, I am saddened that Harley Davidson has made a business decision to establish a relationship with such a controversial individual and his company. Harley Davidson motorcycles are ridden by a large percentage of military veterans and the majority of motorcyclists I know are conservative.
“A corporation must stay neutral when it comes to controversial issues. I cannot understand why a business decision like this was not reviewed by upper management. You have to ask if Harley Davidson management has an agenda. A simple “Google” or check with “snopes.com” would provide enough information to question this decision. I can only hope that Harley Davidson reviews this decision.”

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He’s banking on no one finding out who he is.
